TF2Maps.net is the premier level design community for Valve’s Team Fortress 2. My involvement with the TF2Maps.net staff spans back to the implementation of the original feedback system in late 2010 and spans right through to the current day. In Summer 2013 I decided to volunteer as an official staff member for the site, leaving me in charge of much of the site’s infrastructure and supporting software.
Over the past few years I’ve written a number of bespoke pieces of software to help the mapping community from the aforementioned feedback system, which has been used in the creation of over 4,500 community maps, to more niche pieces like the TF2Maps.net game replay collector responsible for collecting recordings from one of our game servers into a single location.
In 2012 I was awarded the “Map Maker’s Medallion” for “notable and significant contributions to the TF2 Mapping community.”
